Creative Journey

Howdy Y'all!

I’m Chris. 30 years old, based in the south of Germany, and I work as an engineer. But at my core, I do art.

My journey into art began later in life. In 2021, I bought a second-hand Fujifilm X‑T30 and started taking photographs, hoping they would turn out dreamy. They didn’t. Not straight out of the camera, and not after my first attempts at editing either. Still, I kept going.

Over time, my perspective shifted. I began to move away from conventional imagery and leaned into distortion, atmosphere, and ambiguity. What started as a pursuit of dreamy visuals evolved into a fascination with the obscure — with softness, darkness, and the things left unsaid.
Lately, my focus has shifted toward drawing. I create images intended to be tattooed: traditional in spirit, strictly black and white, reduced to form, contrast, and symbolism.
I’m drawn to conversations around dreamlike imagery, obscurity, and traditional drawing and design techniques.

let's tuck in!

Cheers
Chris
